Record-breaking QB's stock plummets and other Reese's Senior Bowl second-day highlights.

Mobile, Alabama— Wednesday was the second day of practice at Hancock Whitney Stadium for Saturday's Reese's Senior Bowl. 

Here are the big takeaways from game practice, which involves numerous NFL Draft contenders: 

Michigan receiver Roman Wilson was the best on the field. Starting practice, Wilson was an above-average player.

He opened the day with numerous good one-on-one drills against good cornerbacks. In more advanced workouts, he showed explosiveness and break from his routes that defenders couldn't handle. 

Wilson concluded with a great one-handed catch on the sideline against Toledo CB Quinyon Mitchell, a top cornerback. 

Nix's deep pass to Wilson fell horribly short to start practice. Nix had some good throws in 11-on-11 drills after his early mistake, but he missed basic checkdown throws and short routes, negating his good plays. 

Nix was slow compared to other quarterbacks. He took too long to drop back and scan the field, forcing him to make rushed, short throws that garnered little yardage. 

On the second practice day, South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler and receiver Xavier Legette clicked, and both players' names ought to be rising on draft boards
